I am preparing my exhibition Carpet Gardens be held at the Musée régional de Vaudreuil-Soulanges May 1 to June 12, 2011.

Completely devoted to my works inspired by Oriental rugs or their plastic construction, the exhibition will present works of all sizes, some form of digital prints.

Since I started this project, I found that many artists have succumbed to the same fascination for me that the effects of mirrors and prisms: the new technologies we are facilitating construction. This deception is many centuries old, as we proved the presence of oriental rugs in almost the majority of homes in Europe, North America and, of course, the Middle East.

I hope that the marriage between Eastern traditions, Celtic and Native American I am trying to succeed will join those who aspire to harmony between peoples and beliefs. My quest for beauty is not a desire for aesthetic satisfaction, but also an aspiration towards an ideal that I may believe possible.
