Difference Between Riddell Adult And Youth

ENS-091220.1- the threshold of winter Stéphan Daigle © 2009

Here is a new image that is available in large format digital prints on LOOK BOREAL . I explore the use of writing as a decorative motif. I repeat here the reason for the black border that I used in the series for both ALMA and posters of Hoyt Arboretum in Portland.

I love this reinvention of the great symbolic landscapes in width which generates a feeling of infinite space.

CRISTALO GEOGRAPHY TO-CELL

Sometimes, during a production, an atypical arises that opens the door to unexpected space. She becomes a bridge to a side of the Imagination which we did not have access. That is one form of revelation which I spoke to you recently.

The image that I present here is a perfect example. I would see parents with works by Klee, Dubuffet and Hundertwasser while evoking a microscopic world between the cell and crystal. This work

plunges me into an abyss of dreams. I am sure she will give birth to a big family.

Here are some more new works featuring THE GARDENS male figures. I see references to music and rhythm in the attitudes of the characters are regularly present in this series. It is not, of course, the only aspect of these images can be interpreted musically, but it points to a meaning that does not normally belong to the visual arts.

That leads to the idea of repetition as the basis of aesthetics in all forms of art. I often mind the music of Johann Sebastian Bach in his extraordinary mathematical as the corollary of a kaleidoscopic vision such as large glass windows of cathedrals or Persian rugs.

REVELATION! ALMA GARDENS TO

Stéphan Daigle © 2009

The real and profound quest for art is celle de la RÉVÉLATION.

Pour lui la Beauté is an expression of the Intelligence REVEALED.

This thinking was born from a very good meeting with artist Claire Labonté Exhibition Centre Repentigny. She presented a lecture on his approach that ended the magnificent exhibition she was presenting.

Birthday Invite Wording 35th

The series of digital prints is that ALMA will bring together 20 pictures illustrating a story I wrote. If the text speaks of the difficult attainment of adulthood of a gifted child, the images expressed by the iconography nordicity (or boréalité) and try to blend different traditions that make our Québécité.

These images generally meet designs and textures to brushes. Sometimes textures drawn from photographs enrich the palette.

The project should ultimately be an artist's book.

Here are some pictures.

THE GARDENS is a project Creation of a series offering digital prints of an iconography of human figures in the middle of imaginary gardens. This series is a continuation of my recent work in combining tapestry photo altered to brush drawings. They explore a world of overlays and colorful amalgam of plans and plots.

The project combines the one hand, geometric constructions made from photographic images of trees and plants that are colorized with the other hand, linear constructions suggesting human bodies. These drawings continue in their developments, the way I have borrowed in recent years, inspired by the ancient art of the Celts while creating affiliations with Indian art from the province.

The finished works are then directed figures inspired by traditions reflecting a harmonious relationship with nature in the middle of idealized representations of gardens. Representations inspired, in turn, oriental rugs.

The special treatment given to heads of human figures focuses on the idea of aspiration, dream or inner vision. It combines the power of the human imagination to the idea of a constantly changing nature of which we are a creative expression.
